Precision Fabrics Group is looking for skilled Maintenance Mechanics to keep our manufacturing equipment, utilities, vehicles, and facility systems operating safely and reliably. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position where you'll troubleshoot problems, repair and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and help keep production moving. You'll work with a wide variety of mechanical systems, so if you enjoy solving problems and working with your hands, you'll never be bored.  WHAT YOU'LL DO Troubleshoot, repair, install, assemble, clean, and lubricate industrial mechanical equipment Maintain equipment including conveyors, pumps, fans, compressors, cooling towers, tanks, dryers, ovens, boilers, autoclaves, shears, slashers, and other production machinery Maintain forklifts, trucks, generators, pumps, and other powered equipment Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, lifts, steering systems, brakes, transmissions, cooling systems, wheels, and tires Inspect and maintain gasoline and propane engines and electric motors Perform preventive maintenance on major production and utility equipment Diagnose equipment problems through inspection, testing, and troubleshooting Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals Determine the appropriate tools, materials, parts, and repair methods needed to complete work Respond to maintenance work orders and help minimize production downtime Identify situations where equipment should be shut down to prevent damage, injury, or further problems Make recommendations to improve equipment reliability and reduce production interruptions Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU: Have experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, heavy equipment, automotive, or a related field Enjoy troubleshooting problems and figuring out why equipment isn't working Have hands-on experience with mechanical systems, machinery, engines, hydraulics, or industrial equipment Can read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Are comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical test equipment Can work independently and make sound decisions when equipment problems arise Take pride in doing quality work and getting equipment back into service safely Understand the importance of preventive maintenance Are safety-minded and able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment EXPERIENCE WITH THESE IS A PLUS Experience with: Industrial manufacturing or production equipment Forklifts and powered industrial trucks Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Pumps, compressors, conveyors, and motors Gasoline or propane engines Boilers, cooling towers, dryers, ovens, or autoclaves Electrical motors and basic electrical troubleshooting Welding, fabrication, or machine-shop equipment Preventive maintenance programs WHY PFG?
