About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health conditions
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Document and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors and family members
Requirements:
- Current caregiver certification or CNA/HHA certification in the state of Virginia
- Prior experience in home care, senior care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- Strong understanding of personal care, safety protocols, and infection control
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor toward elderly clients
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
