POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Installation/Training Administrator (ITA) provides administrative support to the Installation/Training team and collaborates with the Simulator Installation/Training Manager on various tasks. As an integral part of the Installation/Training Team, this role is dedicated to supporting the teams’ day-to-day operations. This position uses their product and company knowledge to guide current Installation/Training Specialists on their installation and training visits. This role’s responsibility also includes the assurance of customer satisfaction meeting up to company standards after service request/visits.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: 

Directly reports to and is supervised by the Simulator Installation/Training Manager. Does not supervise any other position(s).


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Creates Installation/Training calls for customer visits.
  • Performs follow-ups with customer after an installation/training.
  • Develops weekly Installation/Training assignments lists.
  • Assists manager in the enforcement of SOPs for SAP, Scheduling and Reports.
  • Assists manager in the training of Installation/Training staff in SAP, Scheduling and Reports.
  • Communicates to the manager all customer feedback and concerns or issues needing attention.
  • Compiles weekly and monthly reports for Management.
  • Compiles future Installation/Training schedules and strategies with the Installation/Training Manager.
  • Notifies customers of installation/training visits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High School diploma required.
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical/customer support role or related experience is acceptable. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and people effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deal effectively and calmly with the public, as well as other Company departments and staff.
  • Advanced PC skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong time management skills (follow through with customers and staff)
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) fluency in Spanish or additional language is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to express and exchange ideas and information in both written and verbal formats to convey detailed instructions with accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively in a business environment. 
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for long periods to assemble documentation and record data.
  • Ability to walk the facilities to collect necessary data, parts, or tools.
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry objects and supplies (up to 75lbs).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use his/her fingers. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in determining how to conduct assigned tasks. 
  • Should possess excellent eye-to-hand coordination and manual dexterity. 
  • The employee is interchangeably required to sit, stand, and walk.
