Position Overview
Title: Custodian (Minimal Supervision)
Location: Greenville, SC 29615 (on-site, across multiple buildings)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00pm
Pay: $19 - $22/hour, based on experience (hourly, full-time)

Job Summary

The Custodian keeps our manufacturing and office facilities clean, organized, and welcoming across multiple buildings in the local area. This role follows routine cleaning schedules for trash, restrooms, and floors, along with periodic deep-cleaning tasks like windows, carpets, leather furniture, and tile and grout. The Custodian also pitches in on special projects as needed, from cleaning company vehicles to assisting with other facilities upgrades. We're looking for someone who can work on a team or independently and get the job done well with minimal day-to-day supervision.


Responsibilities and Duties
  • Empty trash and recycling throughout production and office areas
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking supplies as needed
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Wipe down and tidy common areas, break rooms, and shared spaces
  • Clean windows, carpets, and tile/grout on a rotating deep-cleaning schedule
  • Perform special cleaning of leather chairs and other like furniture
  • Assist with special projects as needed, such as cleaning company vehicles, helping install lighting, and other facilities projects, as needed
  • Miscellaneous duties

Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a workload with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites throughout the day
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40-50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods
  • Comfortable using standard cleaning equipment and handling cleaning chemicals safely
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • NOTE: Employment requires passing a background check and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications
  • Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience
  • Professional experience with basic building maintenance tasks
  • Technical expertise in a maintenance field
