SPEECHCOM, INC is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a passionate and motivated Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to join our Supportive and Collaborative School-Based Team in Walnut, CA.   • Rate of Pay: $72-$82 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
  • Full-Time: 5 days per week; Maximum 40-hour work week.
  • Working with the behavior team, all schools. 
  • Anticipated Start Date: November 30, 2026 through May 28, 2027 
  • The assignment will run through the end of the school year.

What YOU Need

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Active Certification as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience providing behavior analytic services within a school-based setting preferred.
  • Experience supervising behavior intervention staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families.
  • Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete IEP documentation and communicate effectively via email.

Requirements

 Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support students with behavioral needs.
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of behavioral intervention staff, including behavior aides and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring the implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, administrators, school psychologists, teachers, and related service providers to develop and monitor effective behavioral support plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings by providing behavioral consultation, recommendations, and progress updates.
  • Train and coach school staff on positive behavior supports, behavior management strategies, crisis prevention, and intervention techniques.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze behavioral data, and adjust intervention plans to promote meaningful student outcomes.
  • Ensure behavior services are implemented in accordance with district policies, state and federal regulations, and ethical standards established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Provide consultation and support to school teams across multiple sites to promote consistent implementation of behavioral interventions and best practices.
