QualificationsMinimum Required Qualifications: 2 years proven experience as a machinist supervisor of a production team Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate employees High school diploma or equivalent Skills: Basic knowledge of computer operation including keyboard and mouse operation with general knowledge of Microsoft a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to use handheld measuring tools to verify accurate dimension and fit of parts Basic knowledge of, and the ability to apply standards of measurement including standard, metric and decimal Basic knowledge of, and the ability to interpret metal types, common thickness, and tensile properties Operate equipment in area as needed after proper training (machines, forklift, bander, pallet jack, powered and handheld  tools, etc.) Must be highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment Punctual and dependable attendance record Physical Demands: Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals   Anchor Fabrication is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.  To request reasonable accommodation, contact Julie Gomez at email jgomez@anchorfabms.com
