Brandeis University seeks to hire a Communication Specialist to assist the Associate Director of Communication and Events in developing and managing a communication strategy for the Heller School, the Schneider Institutes and for the School of Social Sciences and Social Policy.

The hiring range is $65,500 - $72,300.

Job Duties:

  • Works with the Director to create, develop and manage content for the Heller School website pages and develop a strategy for the US News & World Report Campaign. Writes, edits, and proofreads high-quality communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and tailored social media content for internal and external distribution. Manages and produces videos as needed

  • The Communications Specialist will oversee the design and distribution of the Social Policy Impact report.

  • Assists the Director of Communications and Events in promoting school wide events and activities while collaborating with and maintain strong relationships with university centers

  • Manages the Communications budget

Qualifications:

B.A./B.S. required plus 3-5 years related work experience

This position will be exclusively represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 888 for purposes of wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
