Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee upcoming projects in the Waltham and Norwood areas. This position requires a strong background in civil sitework and a proven ability to successfully run projects valued at $1 million or more.
Responsibilities
- Supervise crews performing civil, concrete, and sitework operations
- Coordinate daily labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
- Oversee water, sewer, drainage, excavation, and utility work
- Coordinate work involving blasting and complex site conditions
- Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Track production and keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Enforce OSHA standards and company safety procedures
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate jobsite documentation
Requirements
- At least 5 years of civil construction foreman experience
- Proven experience managing projects valued at $1 million or more
- Strong background in sitework, water, sewer, drainage, and blasting-related projects
- Current OSHA 10 certification
- Current Massachusetts 2A/1C Hoisting License
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage crews and solve jobsite issues independently
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- DOT medical card
- Trench safety certification
- Concrete construction experience
Compensation
- $100,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience
- Long-term opportunity with upcoming projects
