Mid Hudson Subaru is hiring a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Valet / Porter / Lot Attendant to join our dealership team in Wappingers Falls, NY.

PAY & SCHEDULE

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Full-Time | 5-Day Work Week
Every Other Saturday Required

AUTOMOTIVE PORTER / VALET RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Automotive Porter / Valet / Lot Attendant, you will help keep the dealership organized, safe, clean, and customer-ready.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely park and move customer, inventory, and dealership vehicles
• Transport vehicles between the Service Department, Sales Department, showroom, and dealership lot
• Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for display
• Maintain showroom and inventory vehicles in clean, presentable condition
• Stage vehicles for customer pickup and delivery
• Assist with vehicle lot organization and inventory positioning
• Keep dealership parking areas organized and accessible
• Assist with traffic flow throughout the dealership
• Maintain sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas
• Remove snow, ice, debris, and other hazards as needed
• Shuttle employees between designated parking locations
• Assist Service Advisors, Sales Consultants, Managers, and other dealership employees
• Help deliver vehicles to customers or move vehicles as directed
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to dealership customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform additional automotive porter, valet, and lot attendant duties as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, professional, and comfortable working around vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience required
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to safely operate automatic transmission vehicles
• Manual transmission experience is a plus
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Previous dealership, automotive, valet, porter, lot attendant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
