We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with our pediatric and adolescent clients at a respite home in Warner Robins, GA. We provide thorough training, great challenges, and even greater fulfillment as you help individuals reach their maximum potential. The BCBA will work with 1 to 4 individuals with impairments in a temporary residential home to stabilize and teach behavior and independence skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of the professional team for the crisis support home.  
  •  Ensure that all services are documented and meet all criteria for Medicaid waiver billing.  
  • Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc.  
  •  Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of individuals served.  
  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.  
  • Maintain quality outcome data. 
  •  Complete functional assessment.  
  •  Develop and implement BSP. Behavior Specialist will consult after discharge.  
  • Seek input and maintain effective communication with IDT, team clinician, and supervisor. 
  • Modify BSP's as necessary.  
  • Attend all agency, departmental, and individual specific meetings as directed.
  •  Attend individual psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.  
  • Conduct direct support staff training on implementation of individual  behavioral support plans and related data collection. 
  • Supervises and assists in transport of individuals, as needed.  
  • Supervises and reviews all incidents of physical intervention. 
  • Maintain individual confidentiality. 
  • Assist team clinician in case management functions and discharge planning. 
  • Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head. 
  • Provide behavior services across all shifts.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Preferred:  Active BCBA license 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals 
  • Minimum:  Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field.  
  • Minimum of 35 hours of training and education in behavior analysis and behavior supports.  
  • Experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  
  • Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.  
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification  
  • Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
