Senior Tactical Buying Services Analyst

About the Role
As a Senior Tactical Buying Services Analyst, you will be responsible for negotiations, sourcing, contract and purchase order issuance, and end-to-end commodity management for the GBS Shared Purchasing Services (SPS) team.
This role involves complex work requiring initiative, strong analytical skills, and independent judgment. You will collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Legal, and IT, to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage key suppliers using strategic sourcing and end-to-end commodity management practices for assigned indirect purchasing commodities.Â
- Maintain an understanding of program timelines, supplier lead times, and supplier capacity.Â
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through competitive bidding, eAuctions, electronic catalogs, blanket contracts, commodity planning, opportunity assessments, business intelligence, and spend analytics.Â
- Meet established cost-savings targets, support process improvement initiatives, and deliver against key performance indicators.Â
- Ensure low-value and emergency purchase requests are properly routed to the remotely located Transactional Purchasing Services team.Â
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop commodity knowledge and sourcing strategies based on market developments, pricing, and technology trends.Â
- Manage the purchasing sourcing process, including bid-list selection, RFQ development, supplier negotiations, supplier selection, sourcing approvals, contract or purchase order issuance, and completion of required documentation.Â
- Ensure all sourcing activities, contracts, and purchase order transactions comply with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.Â
- Manage and resolve commercial issues with suppliers.Â
- Provide coordination and support to other buyers as needed.Â

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Procurement, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field.Â
- At least three years of experience negotiating, sourcing, and managing contracts.Â
- Experience with indirect purchasing commodities, such as building supplies, cutting tools, die supplies, electrical products, engineering services, indirect products, and industrial suppliers, is preferred.Â
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SAP.Â
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills at the B2 level or higher. Â
- Proficiency in another European language is a plus.Â
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.Â
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to address complex issues.Â
- Ability to travel as required.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is ($63,000 - $72,000).
