We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to work alongside our dentists and dental hygienists in providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, connecting with patients, and continuing to grow their skills in a busy community health setting.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support patient care through chairside assisting, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection-control standards, taking responsibility for dental supplies and inventory, and helping keep the clinical day running smoothly.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, 38-hour-per-week position scheduled over four days, giving you the benefit of a consistent day off during the workweek.

Our dental practices offer extended hours to make care more accessible to our patients, so some evening availability is required, along with occasional weekend or community-based events.

We value teamwork and flexibility. Depending on patient and program needs, Dental Assistants may occasionally be asked to support another CCAP dental location.

Requirements

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Completion of accredited course in dental assisting, preferred
  • X-Ray Certification
  • Certified Dental Assistant, preferred
  • Current CPR (BLS) required
  • Ability to attend to multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Provide/maintain all required immunizations and/or vaccinations
  • Complete all required background checks
