  • Shift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start time
  • Schedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)
  • Local Deliveries - Home Every Night
  • Prior touch freight experience is required
  • Pay: Starting at $32 per hour  
  • Off on Major Holidays (8 Total)
  • Must be 21 Year of Age
  • Must have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (At least 1yr experience required)

Responsibilities:

  • Personnel Development: Act as the primary Field Trainer, onboarding and coaching new drivers to ensure high performance and safety standards.
  •  Operational Oversight: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of daily loads while maintaining strict compliance with ABC and DOT regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key customer accounts to ensure service excellence.
  • Strategic Support: Serve as a frontline resource for the delivery team, providing guidance and conflict resolution when the Supervisor is off-site.
  • Safety Stewardship: Lead the department’s safety culture by conducting rigorous pre-trip inspections and enforcing company-wide safety protocols.

Preffered Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Expertise: Significant experience in touch freight and high-volume delivery operations
  • Leadership Aptitude: Proven ability to train, mentor, and communicate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age with a commitment to professional growth and safety. 

Other responsibilities:  

  • The CDL Driver supports the facilities’ supervisors with leading and coaching of delivery team members by facilitating individual and/or group training while also assisting the delivery team with technical equipment

  • You will be responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle

  • This role must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts

  • The CDL Driver will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck

  • You will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork

  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military  

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

  • Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis 

 Preferred Education and Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
