About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Direct Care Professional to join our team. As a Direct Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their safety, health, and well-being. Your role will be critical in helping our clients achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, preemployment physical and TB test
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Experience with behavior management techniques
  • Experience with electronic health records

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our clients

Skills:

As a Direct Care Professional, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with our clients. You will also use your organizational and time management skills to develop and implement individualized care plans. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be critical in ensuring the best possible care for our clients. Additionally, your experience with behavior management techniques and electronic health records will be beneficial in this role.
