That’s why we invest in talent, innovation, and leadership, fostering a workplace where your contributions make a real impact. *This position is contingent upon contract award* Position Summary MIRACORP is seeking a detail oriented Junior Budget Specialist to support budget execution, financial reporting, staffing and funding analysis, resource planning, portfolio tracking, data analytics, and executive reporting. This position works under the guidance of senior team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with budget execution, monitoring, reconciliation, forecasting, and closeout. Track commitments, obligations, expenditures, available balances, and funding utilization. Collect, validate, reconcile, and organize financial, staffing, and operational data. Support spending plans, budget projections, resource estimates, and staffing analyses. Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, charts, dashboards, and briefing materials. Assist with portfolio tracking, including funding, milestones, performance measures, and resource requirements. Develop and update dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Coordinate data calls, track responses, and consolidate submissions. Support workflow, workload, timeliness, and operational performance reporting. Maintain accurate, organized, and audit ready documentation. Support fiscal yearend activities, audits, reviews, and financial data requests. QualificationsMinimum Education & Experience Requirements US Citizen Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, data analytics, public administration, or a related field. 03 years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, accounting, resource management, or data analytics. Basic knowledge of budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, or data analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills. Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability determination or security clearance. Preferred Requirements Federal government, government contracting, finance, or budget office experience. Familiarity with federal budgeting, appropriations, or financial management. Experience or training with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. Experience preparing financial reports, dashboards, or management briefings. Why Choose MIRACORP?
