Exciting opportunities now exist at our headquarters in Doha for an experienced Output Producer to join the team.

Summary:

You will be responsible for writing concise, accurate and balanced copy, often at speed, and matching it with video edited at their desk. Will be expected to work on multiple stories at the same time. Must have a solid interest in international news.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Produce accurate, impartial, informative, up-to-date copy * Must be able to video edit
•  Ensure content and coverage is consistent with Aljazeera standards.
•  Read in and have an overview of international updates through all available sources
•  Participate in the editorial meeting and propose ideas on what news stories need more coverage and content development.
•  Screen the reports received from the reporters and review packages and make changes or adjustments if needed
•  Work with creative on creating video walls and producing sections for certain shows.

Key Requirements:

•  Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Media, Communication or other related fields
•  Minimum 5 years in an international newsroom
• Knowledge in current affairs, global issues & TV production and technology
