Job DetailsJob Location: Washington, DC 20024Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: GovernmentMayvin is currently seeking a Requirements Analyst to provide support to the CBRN Operations Division in the Department Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (DHS FEMA). This individual will provide requirements analysis expertise throughout the acquisition lifecycle of CBRNE detection systems, ensuring that operator interfaces, workflows, and system designs support safe, accurate, and efficient use by first responders, and other end users under operational conditions. The successful candidate will support the Coordination and Requirements Branch Leads at FEMA with developing, analyzing, and communicating user requirements.  They will engage with all stakeholders to include end users, test and evaluation personnel, and acquisition branch leads.    Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an active SECRET clearance. This position is contingent upon award.   Responsibilities: Ability to coordinate with end users effectively to gather their true performance and operational requirements for CBRNE detection systems.  Ability to keep clear notes and updates to all requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle. Ensure requirements are “testable”. Work well with a small team of systems engineers by communicating well with the team and meeting all deadlines with top quality products.  Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, mathematics, or another related technical field. Minimum 10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 8 years with a Master’s supporting a government customer in requirements, systems engineering, acquisition, or test and evaluation activities   Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in systems engineering, mathematics, or another related technical field.
