Description

RedMatter Solutions is seeking an experienced SailPoint Architect to provide technical architecture and strategic leadership for a large-scale federal Identity Governance and Administration environment. The SailPoint Architect will design enterprise identity governance solutions supporting role-based and attribute-based access control, segregation of duties, access certification, lifecycle governance, and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will combine extensive IAM architecture experience with deep SailPoint expertise and an understanding of federal identity governance, Zero Trust, and modern digital-service delivery.

This position is primarily remote/telework; however, occasional onsite support may be required for meetings or other contractual activities.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Architect enterprise SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud solutions. 
  • Design Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) models supporting complex organizational and federal role structures. 
  • Design segregation-of-duties policies, conflict-detection logic, and proactive violation-prevention capabilities. 
  • Design access certification campaigns aligned with audit and compliance requirements. 
  • Establish architecture patterns for identity lifecycle management, application onboarding, access governance, and identity data management. 
  • Support IAM roadmap development, dependency mapping, modernization planning, and risk management. 
  • Provide architectural direction and technical guidance to SailPoint engineering teams. 
  • Ensure identity governance solutions align with federal ICAM, HSPD-12, FISMA, and Zero Trust principles. 
  • Support integration of identity governance capabilities with enterprise applications, directories, security platforms, and identity data sources. 
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and operational guidance. 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, cybersecurity personnel, application owners, product stakeholders, and customer leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of IAM design experience. 
  • 5+ years of SailPoint architecture experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing or supporting IAM solutions within federal or public-sector environments. 
  • Experience architecting RBAC and ABAC models. 
  • Experience designing segregation-of-duties policies, conflict detection, and violation-prevention capabilities. 
  • Experience designing access certification campaigns aligned with audit requirements. 
  • Experience supporting IAM roadmap development, dependency mapping, and risk management within large IAM programs. 
  • Strong understanding of identity governance, authentication, authorization, access certification, auditability, and enterprise identity lifecycle management. 
  • Working knowledge of ICAM, HSPD-12, FISMA, and Zero Trust principles. 
  •  SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer certification. 
  • Ability to meet federal suitability requirements associated with privileged IAM access. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience architecting SailPoint solutions in large federal environments. 
  • Experience designing identity governance solutions incorporating advanced analytics or AI-enabled governance capabilities. 
  • Experience integrating SailPoint with complex enterprise application and directory environments. 
  • Experience with Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
