The Washington Times, a media organization in Washington D.C, is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated experienced Staff Accountant-Accounts Receivable to join our Finance department. The primary responsibilities of this position  works closely with the Sales department and other departments throughout the company to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately reflected in the financial reports

The successful candidate will be a dependable, collaborative accounting professional who takes ownership of their work, maintains a high level of accuracy, and understands the importance of timely collections and accurate financial reporting. This position requires the ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines are necessary. 

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting and accounts receivable experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
