Why This Role Matters

As a Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and strategic insurance solutions to commercial clients. This role serves as a trusted advisor throughout the policy lifecycle, leading renewals, strengthening carrier and client relationships, and ensuring every detail is managed with accuracy and care.
 
You'll partner closely with producers, clients, underwriters, and internal service teams while helping mentor junior team members and supporting the continued growth of the commercial lines book. Success in this role comes from combining technical insurance expertise with strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the commercial renewal process from strategy through binding, ensuring clients receive proactive guidance and seamless service.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, producers, underwriters, and carrier partners to support retention and growth.
  • Prepare ACORD applications, loss summaries, descriptions of operations, and submission materials to secure competitive market options.
  • Develop and deliver client-facing presentations that clearly communicate coverage recommendations and renewal strategies.
  • Review policies, endorsements, contracts, and leases for coverage implications, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Delegate and oversee work completed by Account Managers and Account Assistants, ensuring quality, consistency, and service excellence.

What You Bring

Day One:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
  • Experience managing commercial accounts through the full renewal process.
  • Knowledge of ACORD applications, policy servicing, certificates of insurance, and carrier submissions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience working effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Valuable Additions:

  • Experience mentoring, training, or leading team members.
  • Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
  • Experience reviewing contractual insurance requirements and lease agreements.
  • Advanced presentation and client communication skills.
  • Established relationships within commercial insurance carrier markets.
