Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking a licensed Illinois plumber to provide part-time municipal inspection services for an established community in Lake County. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional looking for consistent, flexible part-time work in a professional municipal environment. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Conduct residential and commercial inspections.
  • Evaluate plumbing installations for compliance with Illinois Plumbing Code and local requirements.
  • Document inspection results, and communicate clearly with contractors, residents, and municipal staff. 
  • Limited plumbing plan review may also be performed as needed. 

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Illinois plumber's license. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license. 
  • Available to conduct inspections during weekday business hours.
  • Prior municipal inspection or plan review experience is preferred. 
  • Strong communication skills, sounds judgement, professionalism, and the ability to work independently are essential.
