What You’ll DoÂ
Set up and operate CNC machining centers used to manufacture large, high-precision engine componentsÂ
Support the launch and production ramp-up of new Makino horizontal and 5-axis machining centers & Waldrich Coburg bridge mills and FANUC automated cellsÂ
Perform tooling changes, offsets, setups, and process adjustmentsÂ
Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirementsÂ
Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipmentÂ
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issuesÂ
Support improvements in quality, cycle time, tool life, and overall process performanceÂ
Help establish machining standards and best practices for the new Waukesha operationÂ
What You’ll BringÂ
High School Diploma or GEDÂ
2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience, or equivalent technical training/apprenticeship experienceÂ
Experience setting up and operating CNC milling equipmentÂ
Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds, work holding, and machining fundamentalsÂ
Ability to read technical drawings and perform dimensional inspectionsÂ
Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, continuous improvement mindsetÂ
Experience with horizontal machining centers, 5-axis machining, FANUC or Siemens controls, or large-part machining is a plus, but not requiredÂ
