Growth and Advancement Opportunities Continuous Training and Development   Summary As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure their safety and performance. Using advanced tools and equipment, you’ll tackle mechanical and electrical issues with precision and efficiency, while following manufacturer and dealership standards. This role requires a skilled mechanic with a passion for solving problems and delivering high-quality service. We are committed to supporting your growth through technician certification programs and paid ongoing training opportunities including manufacturer and ASE certification. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair tasks as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines. Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively. Conduct test drives and inspections to confirm proper repairs have been completed by the automotive technician team. Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs, collaborating with service advisors and parts advisors. Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to the service advisor. Stay updated on new automotive technologies and best practices through formal training sessions and certifications. Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting findings to ensure all repairs align with mechanic and technician standards. SJC-2 QualificationsMust Have Qualifications: Clean, valid driver’s license. Strong teamwork skills and a passion for learning. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous automotive repair experience. Nice to Have Qualifications: Previous dealership experience. ASE or manufacturer certifications.
