INNIO is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist to help launch a new, highly automated machining operation for Jenbacher engine production in Waukesha. 

INNIO is investing in all-new Makino & Waldrich Coburg machining centers, FANUC robotics, and advanced automation technology, creating machining cells built around the most advanced manufacturing technology available today. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machining processes used to manufacture large, high-precision engine components. 

  • Support the launch of new Makino horizontal and 5-axis machining centers & Waldrich Coburg bridge mills and FANUC automated cells 

  • Set up, prove out, and troubleshoot new machining processes 

  • Select tooling and support fixture and tooling development 

  • Improve cycle time, quality, tool life, and process performance 

  • Partner with manufacturing engineering, suppliers, and global INNIO teams 

  • Help establish machining standards in Waukesha, WI

What You’ll Bring 

  • 3+ years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience 

  • Experience programming CNC milling centers; Fanuc preferred, Siemens a plus 

  • Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and technical drawings 

  • CAD/CAM experience. TopSolid, Mastercam, GibbsCAM or similar welcomed. VERICUT, TDM, CATIA or AutoCAD experience is a plus. 

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on, continuous improvement mindset 

  • CNC certification, or apprenticeship preferred; equivalent experience considered

International Training Opportunity: You'll receive hands-on training with our machining experts at INNIO's Jenbacher manufacturing facility in Jenbach, Austria, before bringing that expertise back to Waukesha. Includes company-paid airfare, housing, transportation and per diem.
