Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Texas in Waxahachie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations, and document incidents in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain required armed officer qualifications and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
