SUMMARY

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of complex program elements, development, and administration in coordination with the Project Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes recommendations to Project Director concerning pay increases, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, hiring and firing; defines workloads with attention given to setting priorities and monitoring progress
  • Works as liaison with community agencies and referral sources, representing Red Rock and initiating strong cooperative linkage with possible resources; services on outside committees when feasible
  • Completes and, with coordination with Project Director, assures completion of all necessary paperwork, progress notes, special reports, and statistical data; meets quality management requirements
  • Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars
  • Acts as role model in interpersonal relationships with staff and clients
  • Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
  • Assists in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objective
  • Maintains safe environment for clients and co-workers by constant follow-up and communication with all agencies involved with treatment or service to client
  • Supports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team
  • Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree required, in Mental Health related field preferred
  • 6 Months experience in high fidelity wraparound
  • Experience working with community resources
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS
  • One year of direct experience in Systems of Care preferred
  • One year experience in a leadership role preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
