In a historic partnership, St. Louis Children’s and KVC Health Systems have joined forces to create one of the nation’s most innovative youth mental health and wellness campuses. While you work remotely, you are a vital part of a broad continuum of care—including our upcoming 77-bed acute care hospital—dedicated to providing a peaceful environment for children and families to heal.

The Role: Healing Through Innovation

As a Telehealth Therapist, you will leverage web-based technology to provide trauma-informed therapy and case management to children and adolescents in residential and acute programs. While this role is remote, we prefer candidates local to the Kansas City metro to facilitate occasional travel to Camber and KVC sites for in-person support, meetings, and therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Virtual Healing: Conduct individual, group, and family therapy using KVC’s secure web-based platforms.
• Clinical Excellence: Lead comprehensive intakes, assessments, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with hospital liaisons, schools, and community mental health centers to advocate for your clients.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide vital support when necessary, utilizing approved tools and resources to ensure youth safety.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Credentialed Expertise: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Family Therapy, or Counseling with a valid license (LMSW, LSW, LSCSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT). Clinical licensure preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of supervised experience providing therapy to children or adolescents.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and comfort with telehealth delivery.

• Mobility: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance for occasional site travel.
