Description

The Assistant Coordinator serves as a support to the Coordinator of Out of School Time Programs in the day-to-day delivery of Friendly House's EEC-licensed school age program. In the Coordinator's absence, the Assistant Coordinator assumes full responsibility for the program, including supervision of staff, oversight of daily operations, and ensuring continued compliance with EEC licensing guidelines.


Rate of pay: $19.50 per hour

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Requirements

  • Associates Degree , or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some experience supervising or leading others preferred; ability to confidently step into a lead role as needed.
  • Strong technology skills, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use program software, scheduling tools, and other digital systems (e.g., Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Brightwheel, S'more Newsletters).
  • Required availability during Worcester Public Schools vacation breaks, school closures, evening events, and weekends, including specific annual programming around Thanksgiving, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's Eve.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a personal vehicle.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, highly preferable.
