WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) seeks a nephrologist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an ACGMEâaccredited Internal Medicine residency, and completion of an ACGMEâaccredited Nephrology fellowship. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
This group functions as a âRegional Teamâ and the successful candidate could be expected to practice at all locations as needed: Wheeling Hospital, Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Wetzel County Hospital, Barnesville Hospital, Harrison Community Hospital and all associated North Region Ambulatory clinics.
The WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) formed in 2021 and has since grown to 900 physicians and advanced practice providers. Caregivers affiliated with the group practice in all 25 WVU Medicine hospitals and clinics. The groupâs physicians serve in a variety of specialties and subspecialties â from primary care to advanced specialty care â and work in tandem with the WVU faculty practice plan.
