The Janitorial team member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the HOA community’s common areas, clubhouse, amenities, and facilities. This position ensures that all assigned areas are clean, safe, well-maintained, and presentable for residents, guests, and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain HOA common areas, clubhouse, fitness center, restrooms, hallways, entrances, and amenity areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and floors.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
- Clean and maintain windows, doors, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Keep clubhouse and amenity areas neat, organized, and ready for resident use.
- Assist with setup and cleanup for HOA meetings, events, social functions, and community activities.
- Maintain cleanliness around pool areas, including surrounding walkways and pool restrooms, as assigned.
- Monitor janitorial supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Properly use and store cleaning products, equipment, and tools.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual conditions to the supervisor or Property Manager.
- Assist with light cleaning and general upkeep of community facilities as needed.
- Follow all HOA policies, safety procedures, and established cleaning schedules.
- Provide courteous and professional service to residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or supervisor.
