Position Summary

This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.  This role will support our users day-to-day and work with our cybersecurity and MSP partners to provide hands on support for our network and hardware infrastructure. This individual must be able to communicate effectively and understands the need to work in an integrated manner with other members of the department in furtherance of goals, objectives, and knowledge.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of technology operations across the corporate office and affiliated entities, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary technology resource for executives, employees, and key stakeholders, delivering exceptional support while aligning technology solutions with operational needs.
  • Oversee end-user support services, ensuring timely resolution of technology issues in accordance with established service expectations and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including account provisioning and deprovisioning, workstation deployment, access management, security controls, and technology orientation.
  • Administer and maintain core technology infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, networking, wireless systems, conference room technology, telecommunications, endpoint devices, and cloud-based business applications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain technology standards, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, security, and operational efficiency across all supported entities.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate business requirements, identify technology opportunities, and recommend solutions that improve productivity, collaboration, security, and scalability.
  • Lead relationships with managed service providers (MSPs), cybersecurity firms, software vendors, telecommunications providers, and other technology partners to ensure service quality, accountability, and value.
  • Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, including user awareness training, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, access controls, incident response coordination, and adherence to security best practices.
  • Manage technology procurement, budgeting, licensing, renewals, warranties, and vendor contracts to optimize costs and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate technology asset inventories, including hardware, software licenses, mobile devices, network equipment, subscriptions, and domain management.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute technology projects, system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure conference rooms, collaboration platforms, and executive meeting technologies are properly configured, maintained, and available to support seamless communications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, support procedures, disaster recovery information, and knowledge base resources.
  • Monitor technology performance, capacity, and reliability while proactively identifying and addressing risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to establish technology governance, business continuity planning, disaster recovery readiness, and risk management practices.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and support organizational growth.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement within all technology-related functions.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through training, certifications, and industry engagement to maintain expertise and ensure the organization benefits from current best practices.
  • Lead or support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential executive, financial, and operational information.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, business continuity, and regulatory compliance considerations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering a premium support experience for leadership and staff.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including experience managing technology operations, infrastructure, vendors, and end-user support.
  • Experience supporting professional services firms, investment organizations, financial services firms, or multi-entity business environments preferred.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Windows 10/11, endpoint management, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and business applications.
  • Experience managing MSPs, cybersecurity consultants, telecommunications providers, and other technology vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technology projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, ITIL, CISSP, or other relevant credentials are preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally travel between office locations and supported entities as required.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to maintain regular on-site presence when needed.
