Job Description

This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, stockroom, or inventory experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Inventory Associate to support manufacturing and engineering operations. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, moving, and issuing materials throughout the facility to support production needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple teams while helping maintain inventory accuracy, support production schedules, and ensure materials are available when needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, components, and supplies

  • Label, store, and organize materials in designated stockroom or warehouse locations

  • Pick, issue, and kit materials to support manufacturing and engineering activities

  • Transport materials throughout the facility as required

  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and inventory transactions

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits and cycle counts

  • Prepare materials for shipment and coordinate outbound freight as needed

  • Ensure materials are properly identified, handled, and stored according to established procedures

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and warehouse environment

  • Support additional warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, inventory, logistics, or material handling environment

  • Experience receiving, stocking, picking, packing, kitting, or issuing materials

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems

  • Inventory counting, cycle count, or inventory reconciliation experience

  • Forklift certification or previous forklift experience

  • Experience supporting production, assembly, or engineering operations
