What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in school-based and outpatient settings
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Address mobility, strength, balance, coordination, gross motor development, and functional participation
  • Develop and support educationally relevant goals for students
  • Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings when appropriate
  • Collaborate with families, educators, physicians, OTs, SLPs, and other professionals
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Tennessee and Arkansas Physical Therapist licenses, or willingness to obtain licensure in both states
  • Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology and electronic documentation
  • Ability to commute to Therapeutic Focus (West Memphis, Arkansas) one to two days a week.

Schedule & Setting

Part-Time | Monday–Friday

Flexible scheduling based on therapist availability, caseload, school schedules, and clinic needs.

This position includes a combination of school-based and outpatient pediatric therapy, including a PreK–12 school population and is a hybrid position (in person and virtual).
