Job Description:
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
The role of the Field Supervisor is to lead and manage an assigned group of Pest Control Technicians in the completion of their assigned service area. This position is responsible for managing a group of 10-15 Service Technicians in the field, overseeing their day-to-day activities and professional development while ensuring the delivery of stellar customer service. Additionally, this role provides safe and effective pest management solutions to evaluate new customers’ needs, maximizes required performance outcomes, keeps records of service activities, and submits reports to management as required.  Day-to-day functions of the Field Supervisor include:Â
Evaluate the quality of work completed and service being deliveredÂ
Participate in the review and evaluation process of team membersÂ
Administer, train and coach TechniciansÂ
Conduct vehicle inspectionsÂ
Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff.Â
Provide guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.Â
Conduct daily one on ones with each team member  Â
Collaborate with other departments to provide quality training, including 1-1 field training with team membersÂ
Work with Branch Manager to hire and train new team membersÂ
Respond to customer’s needs in a professional and timely mannerÂ
Work with the Communication Center to ensure fluid transfer from phones to field operationsÂ
Accurately completing paperwork in a timely mannerÂ
Attend all scheduled trainingÂ
Review and approve employee timecards and paid time off requestsÂ
Responsible for reviewing and analyzing reports from Azuga and PestPacÂ
Daily route optimizationÂ
Visit trouble accounts for the Branch as neededÂ
Participate in 24/7 on-call after hours rotation programÂ
Perform other duties as assignedÂ
Qualifications and Education RequirementsÂ
Minimum 2 years’ experience in pest control or in a managerial/supervisory roleÂ
Must hold a state issued appropriate pest control registrations, licenses, and certifications or the ability to obtain within 90 days of assuming the roleÂ
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordÂ
Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.Â
Availability to work a flexible scheduleÂ
Availability to work some weekendsÂ

Good oral and written communication skillsÂ

Must be able to lift to 50 poundsÂ
Ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out of the way areas, and position self to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spacesÂ
Ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 poundsÂ
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditionsÂ
