About BODYROK
BODYROK is a high-intensity, low-impact reformer studio built around curated playlists and programmed workouts that make every class feel like an experience, not just a workout. We don't just open studios in communities , we build communities inside them. As we grow in Houston, we're looking for someone who can turn that mission into real local roots.
The Role
We're hiring a Community & Operations Manager to be the face of BODYROK in West University and to keep the studio running day-to-day. You'll own community partnerships and local growth, oversee our Studio Advisors (front desk/sales), and manage payroll for all studio staff.Â
What You'll Do
•   Build and manage relationships with local businesses, apartment communities, offices, running clubs, and other organizations to drive new client visits.
•   Own local/grassroots marketing: pop-ups, local events, partnerships, and community activations that get BODYROK in front of the right people.
•   Drive the studio's new-member funnel — from first visit through conversion to membership — working closely with the front desk/sales process.
•   Oversee day-to-day studio operations as they relate to our Studio Advisors (SAs): scheduling, performance, and day-to-day management of the front desk/sales team.
•   Manage payroll for all studio staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness each pay period.
•   Manage the studio's local social media presence and community engagement online and in-person.
•   Track and report on community/growth initiatives and studio operational metrics.
•   Represent BODYROK's brand and values at every community touchpoint, building the kind of member experience people want to tell their friends about.
What We're Looking For
•   Deep familiarity with the Houston / West University community. You already know the neighborhood, or can prove you can learn it fast.
•   Experience in community engagement, grassroots/local marketing, sales, or membership growth — boutique fitness, hospitality, or a related relationship-driven field preferred.
•   Experience managing staff and handling payroll/administrative operations. You are comfortable owning both the people side and the paperwork.
•   A natural relationship-builder: comfortable walking into a local business and starting a partnership conversation.
•   Self-starter who can build a growth plan from scratch, not just execute a playbook.
•   Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable representing the brand on social media and in person.
Compensation & Benefits
•   Base salary: $60,000-$70,000/year, based on experience.
•  Includes Medical Dental, Vision Benefits, 401K plan
•   Performance bonus plan tied to studio growth and community impact.
•   Complimentary BODYROK membership.
•   Room to grow: as BODYROK expands in Houston, this role grows with it. We plan to have 6 studios open in the next 18-24 months.
