About the Role:
Tanishq Jewelry in Westborough, MA is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Full Time Cashier to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional demeanor in a luxury retail environment
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payment methods with precision and accountability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area
- Support sales associates on the floor during opening and closing hours to set the store and to wrap-up
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandise tagging
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary
Requirements:
- Prior cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a full-time -Â 10 hr shifts 4 days a week including weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-end retail environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Experience with POS systems, MS Excel is a plus
- Training will be provided
