Central Sterile Technician - Central Sterile Supply - Evenings

Join our team as a Central Sterile Technician, working alongside NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at NewYork-Presbyterian, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments.

This is a full time, evenings position working 3:00pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, NY, right across from the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria

• Previous experience in Central Sterile

Required Criteria

• High School graduate or equivalent and previous CSP experience

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Services Material Management or certified by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)

• Good communication and organizational skills
