Enjoy the peace of mind that comes from our “Work Today, Get Paid Today” program, along with weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, and an employee assistance program designed to support you both personally and professionally.  BENEFITS  Paid weekly Full Time 3-11, Part Time 7-3  Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)   Employee Sponsored Life Insurance  401k  Vacation, Holiday and Sick Pay  Early Access to Pay  Tuition Reimbursement  Various Discount Programs (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Club Memberships, etc.)  EAP (Employee Assistance Program)  At our facilities, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of personal care, while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.  As a Resident Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional long-term care, sub-acute care, and memory care.  Your strong clinical skills and commitment to resident-centered care will help us meet the evolving needs of those we serve.  If you are ready to join a compassionate team that values your contributions and growth, we want to hear from you!  RESPONSIBILITIES  Including, but not limited to:  Ensure room readiness and welcoming processes for all new admissions.  Completes unoccupied bed-making for all assigned residents.  Transports residents safely to and from the dining room, rehab area and other activities as needed.  Help with menu/meal selection, deliver resident meals.  Assist with the hydration process, ensure water pitchers are changed regularly  Receives and shares information; observes and reports residents' conditions to appropriate staff.  Responds promptly to residents' call lights.  Report appropriate department all complaints and grievances made by the resident/family.   Follow the chain of command guidelines for inter-facility problem solving.  Represent the facility by conducting oneself with the highest degree of honesty and integrity in every interaction.  Maintains confidentiality and always protects sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI).  Promptly reports concerns and suspected incidences of non-compliance to supervisor or to the Facility Compliance Officer.  Assist with clerical work, e.g., copying, filing, answering telephones appropriately, and delivering messages.  Know role in disaster and fire plan.  Attend training, meetings and in-services as required.  Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.  Document residents' information accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.  Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive resident care in our facilities.   SKILLS  Exceptional communication, customer service, and people skills  Outgoing, friendly personality  Good organization skills, follow up and follow through  Ability to handle multiple tasks as one time  Mature, Self-motivated, can work independently  High desire to work with the elderly. Will be comfortable and compassionate with the elderly.  Customer service experience is a plus.  Ideal candidates must be able to work in support with team members, other staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public.  Able to work rotating holidays and weekends.  Prior experience not required. We are willing to train.  Customer service and health care experience is a plus.  Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.  Ability to provide compassionate support in hospice care settings.  Familiarity with Skilled Nursing, Sub-acute, and Memory Care and the specific needs of residents.  Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain resident confidentiality.  Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations during an emergency.  Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.  We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
