GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be at least 21 years of age. 

High School diploma or GED. 

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid ABO card. 

Must possess or be able to attain a valid Responsible Vendor Server Permit. 

Must possess or be able to attain a Louisiana Racing License. 

Must be able to read, write, speak or understand English. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

Knowledge of all beverages and ingredients used in a typical bar operation. 

Ability to ring up all products in accordance with policy. 

Ability to pass a standard Mixology certification. 

Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills. 

Serves as Casino Bartender from time to time as business requires. 

Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned by management. 

Promotes outstanding guest relations. 

Works additional hours on short notice as requested by a manager or supervisor in order to accommodate staffing emergencies, employee absences, special projects, high business levels, and training programs. 

Perform any related duties at the request of a supervisor or manager. 

Maintains the stock and cleanliness of the Casino Self Service areas. 

Knowledge of basic math skills to understand and properly use Micros. 

Follows all local and state liquor laws applicable to our operation. 

Regular attendance and uniform appearance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Caesars. 

Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.  

DEMANDS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

PHYSICAL & MENTAL: 

Grasp lift/carry or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart or dolly weighing a maximum of 200 pounds. 

Place items in overhead coolers in excess of 15 pounds. 

Use step ladders or stools to safely remove objects from high places. 

Kneel down for periods of several minutes for cleaning and stocking. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Stand and walk on hard, slippery or carpeted surfaces for periods of time in excess of 8 hours. 

Work in a walk-in cooler or freezer for 20 minutes or longer. 

Work in smoking and non-smoking environment for 8 hours or more.
