AIT-TSS Classroom Support Technician (26-27AY)

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the operational readiness of classrooms AV/IT equipment
• Provide support in conducting regular tests of the AV equipment in all classrooms and conference room spaces.
• Provide reports on any major issues in classrooms that need to be addressed.
• Provide onsite support services when users need immediate help in classrooms.
• Keeping track of the equipment inventory in classrooms.
• Assist in the replacement of equipment.
• Perform basic repairs as needed.
• Learn and demonstrate best practices for creating documentation.
• Help with various to-dos and office tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Aptitude for audio-visual (AV) equipment and information technology (IT).
• Ability to write documentation for hardware and software procedures.
• Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with web conference technology (O365, Teams, etc.).
• Being able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Someone who can drive a campus vehicle.
• Previous experience with AV equipment, sound systems, or computer hardware in a school or church setting. 

Pay Range: $15-$16/hour
