What You'll Be Responsible For:
You will be responsible for developing current and future maintenance talent by:
- Coaching and mentoring technicians
- Creating training and development plans
- Supporting cross-training initiatives
- Building technical capability across the team
- Creating clear development paths for technicians and team leaders
- Ensuring new employees are successfully onboarded and integrated into the team
You will help move the organization from reactive habits toward disciplined execution by:
- Setting clear expectations
- Holding employees accountable fairly and consistently
- Reinforcing positive behaviors
- Addressing performance concerns constructively
- Creating an environment of trust, respect, and ownership
- Leading through influence and example
Drive Maintenance Excellence
You will lead maintenance activities including:
- Preventive maintenance
- Predictive maintenance
- Reliability improvement initiatives
- Emergency repairs
- Root cause analysis
- Work order management
- Technician scheduling and workforce planning
- Continuous improvement activities
We're not looking for the best mechanic in the plant. We're looking for the leader who can build the best maintenance team in the plant.

Technical Background
Candidates should possess strong industrial maintenance experience in one or more of the following areas:
- PLC troubleshooting
- Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500 & PLC-5)
- Mitsubishi PLCs
- Inverter and DC Drives
- AC & DC Servo Drives
- Robotics and automation systems
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Rigging
- Highly automated manufacturing equipment

Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

Education and Experience
Preferred
Associate Degree in:
- Industrial Maintenance
- Mechatronics
- Electrical Technology
- Engineering Technology
- Related technical field
Equivalent combinations of technical training, certifications, military experience, and demonstrated maintenance leadership experience will be considered.

- 7+ years industrial maintenance experience
- 3+ years maintenance leadership experience
- Experience leading technicians in a multi-craft environment
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing operations
