Transaction Processing Associate
Position Summary
Leads and coordinates complex document imaging operations, including scanning workflow, work allocation, quality oversight, escalated exception resolution, and operational reporting. Provides subject matter guidance, training, and process improvement support to ensure client accuracy, security, and turnaround requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
Leads and coordinates daily image scanning workflow, work allocation, and coverage based on volume and priority.
Monitors scanning queues, turnaround time, productivity, and image quality; rebalances work to meet client requirements.
Performs final review and resolves escalated scanning, indexing, reconciliation, and image-quality exceptions.
Ensures batch control, chain-of-custody, secure document handling, and image retention procedures are followed.
Troubleshoots complex scanner or imaging software issues and coordinates support with internal teams or vendors.
Develops or updates scanning procedures and job aids; trains associates on equipment, systems, quality standards, and controls.
Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of document imaging, scanning workflows, indexing, validation, and quality-assurance processes.
Ability to coordinate workflow, prioritize production volumes, and allocate work.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and exception-resolution skills.
Ability to train, mentor, and provide work direction to team members.
Proficiency in production reporting, performance tracking, and quality monitoring.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for imaging equipment and software.
Knowledge of document security, batch control, and chain-of-custody requirements.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Four or more years of experience in document imaging, transaction processing, or a related operational environment preferred.
Experience serving as a lead, trainer, subject matter expert, or workflow coordinator preferred.
Experience supporting a high-volume production environment preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $34,560 - $51,840 annually.
