Leading Front Desk operations during assigned shifts while ensuring guests receive exceptional, personalized service.

Performing all Front Desk Agent responsibilities, including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, billing, and guest communications.

Supporting the Front Office Manager by coaching, training, onboarding, and mentoring Front Desk team members.

Leading by example through professionalism, accountability, and a hands-on approach to guest service.

Serving as the first point of contact for guest concerns and providing timely, thoughtful service recovery while escalating issues when appropriate.

Coordinating shift coverage, break schedules, and daily workflow to ensure efficient Front Office operations.

Ensuring guest amenities, welcome gifts, VIP arrivals, and special requests are delivered accurately and on time.

Monitoring the appearance of the lobby and Front Desk to maintain a polished, welcoming, and guest-ready environment.

Completing daily reports, operational checklists, audits, and cash-handling procedures accurately.

Partnering with Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell Services, Food & Beverage, and other departments to create seamless guest experiences.

Supporting Front Desk team members throughout the shift while maintaining active participation in daily operations.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous Front Desk or Guest Services experience required.

Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.

Luxury, boutique hotel, or upscale hospitality experience preferred.

Experience using property management systems (PMS) and standard office applications.

Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative leadership team.

Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts based on business needs.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Ability to sit, bend, reach, and move throughout guest areas and hotel departments as needed.

Ability to operate computers, telephones, property management systems, payment systems, and standard office equipment.

Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced Front Office environment.

Must wear required personal protective equipment as required by job responsibilities.
