Responsibilities

This position is hybrid, but must be near Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD). Ability to be on-site at TYAD over 50% with limited notice is required.

 

As an Industrial Engineering On-Site Representative (OSR) for the Noblis OptiSource program supporting AMC's Organic Industrial Base Modernization Office, your responsibilitieis will include: relaying an understanding of the industrial and manufacturing challenges present at TYAD for the specified use cases being modeled to the development team, verifying documentation and process performance, on-site training and meeting faciliation with TYAD personnel and leadership.

 

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the subject matter bridge between the depot floor and the remote development team, ensuring that the tools and dashboards being built reflect how TYAD personnel work and make decisions
  • Train and support end users at TYAD on the OptiSource application, including hands-on desk-side coaching and ongoing feedback collection to inform product improvements
  • Reduce the development team's ramp-up time at TYAD by bringing existing knowledge of depot operations, workflows, and stakeholder relationships

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree
  • Minimum of 6 years industrial engineering experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in Army depot, DoD aviation maintenance, or complex defense MRO environment.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required. US citizenship is required. 

 

Experience with:

  • Industrial process analysis for aviation MRO
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience for aviation maintenance
  • Army depot operations (rotary-wing overhaul/repair) requirements elicitation, on-site facilitation, site requirements documentation
  • Process assessments, site visits facilitation, requirements documentation
  • Must work on/near TYAD, Tobyhanna, PA.

Desired Qualifications

  • TYAD or comparable aviation depot experience strongly preferred
  • GCSS-Army, and/or VANTAGE familiarity preferred

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
