Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our assisted living team on the 3-11 shift. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional resident care, assist with daily activities, and support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective, and personalized care. Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to identify patient needs, report changes in condition promptly, and assist with emergency responses in critical situations
  • Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols, practicing proper hand hygiene, and adhering to safety standards for infectious disease care and acute care settings

 

Requirements

  • Valid CNA certification recognized by state licensing authorities
  • Experience working with diverse populations including long-term care residents, seniors, or individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength such as assisting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility aids
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team member
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with required privacy practices

Responsibilities


  • Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
  • Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
