About the Role:
Voodoo Brewing Co in Williamsburg, VA is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen crew! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to recipes and plating standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout each shift
- Work efficiently across multiple stations including grill, sauté, fry, and prep as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution during service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory properly
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements:
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for food quality and a positive attitude
