We are hiring for a Production Expeditor (non-union position) for our Williamsburg, PA manufacturing location.

 

Job Summary

 

Under close supervision and guidance, provides support in expediting materials, services, and time to meet customer demands for all customer orders while meeting the production goals of the division that processes a below average number of orders.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Support production scheduling by reviewing, processing, and tracking production orders.
  • Prepare and distribute production paperwork, schedules, and job packets to support daily operations.
  • Coordinate materials, paper, artwork, and supplies to ensure jobs are ready for production.
  • Maintain production, inventory, paper usage, and shipping records.
  • Communicate job, schedule, and delivery updates with production, customer service, and other departments.
  • Assist with ordering production materials and tracking inventory levels.
  • Provide administrative support and backup coverage for scheduling, inventory, and billing functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Pay & Work Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: $22 – $24
  • Monday – Friday
  • Flexibility may be required during peak production or as business needs dictate

Other (Non-Essential) Functions


Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA

  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or related environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and basic calculations.
  • Able to read and understand production documents, specifications, and reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and management.

 Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Frequent walking throughout the production floor and regular computer use.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs., bend, reach, and move materials or paperwork as needed.
  • Exposure to production equipment, moving machinery, and moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work occasional overtime as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in administration or work order production.
  • General office, computer, and data entry skills are required for this position
