Director of Residential Services
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annually Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; flexibility required
The Arc Erie County New York is seeking an experienced Director of Residential Services to provide leadership and oversight for our residential programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered services while overseeing program operations, staffing, compliance, budgets, and continued program development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for Residential Services.
- Oversee program quality, staffing, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and support residential management staff.
- Develop and implement residential policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and program development.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, community partners, families, and advocates.
- Ensure residential locations operate safely and effectively.
- Participate in site visits and provide leadership support during emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field plus 5 years of Residential Services experience, including senior-level leadership experience;
OR
Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of Residential Management experience, including 5 years in a senior-level capacity.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, residential regulations, staff leadership, budgeting, and program operations.
Valid NYS driver’s license and personal transportation required.
