GENERAL SERVICE AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Delaney Tire & Auto is looking for a dependable and motivated General Service Technician to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic automotive experience who wants steady work, hands-on training, and the opportunity to advance into a higher-level technician position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes and routine maintenance
  • Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires
  • Perform basic brake and suspension repairs
  • Replace batteries, filters, belts, bulbs, and wiper blades
  • Complete digital vehicle inspections with pictures and videos
  • Check and properly set tire pressures and fluid levels
  • Assist experienced technicians when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Verify completed work before returning vehicles to customers
  • Follow all shop procedures and safety requirements
Qualifications

  • Basic automotive experience is preferred, but we will train the right person
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment
  • Ability to lift tires and other automotive components
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must provide basic hand tools
  • Tire and oil-change experience is a plus
  • State inspection license is a plus
