Line Chef

Vicmead Hunt Club is looking for a Line Cook to join our culinary team in Wilmington, Delaware.

If you have experience working in a restaurant, hotel, country club, private club, catering kitchen, or other professional kitchen—and take pride in preparing great food—we'd like to meet you.

At Vicmead, you'll work as part of an established culinary team in a professional private-club environment, preparing food for members, guests, dining service, and club events.

What You'll Do

As a Line Cook, you will help prepare and execute food during daily dining service and special events. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards
• Set up and maintain your assigned kitchen station
• Complete food preparation and mise en place for service
• Cook and plate food accurately, consistently, and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work closely with chefs and other kitchen team members during service
• Assist with banquets, private events, and other club functions as needed
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products
• Help maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

The right Line Cook is dependable, takes pride in their work, and works well with a team.

We'd like you to have:

• Previous line cook, prep cook, restaurant, hotel, country club, private club, or professional kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions consistently
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and presentation
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work cooperatively with chefs and other kitchen staff
